History

Originally founded in 1999 as Bachovin-Healy Group, 4 Star Reps has evolved into a trusted name in the commercial foodservice equipment industry. The company’s transformation began when Andy Bachovin partnered with Karen Higgins, whose vision led to a rebranding that established 4 Star Reps as a benchmark of quality, commitment, and customer success.

Following Karen’s retirement in 2021, Erica Monaghan, President and owner, assumed leadership of the company, bringing a renewed focus on growth, modernization, and customer service. Under Erica’s guidance, 4 Star Reps has expanded from a team of seven to seventeen, collectively driving significant sales growth. Further, they will soon open a second, state-of-the art test kitchen and product showroom in the Philadelphia area. Known for its enduring partnerships with nationally recognized brands like Vulcan Equipment since the company’s inception, 4 Star Reps combines industry expertise with a custom-developed data management system, capturing and analyzing sales data to drive success for their manufacturers and customers.

The company’s commitment to excellence is evident in their investment in the industry through Platinum-level sponsorships with SNAPa, involvement with the PA Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA), a company-wide initiative to attain CFSP certification through NAFEM, and a dedicated presence on the MAFSI board. By building specific roles to meet manufacturer and customer expectations, 4 Star Reps has positioned itself as an indispensable resource in the foodservice equipment market in MAFSI Region 4.
